Looking for japandi wedding decor with pretty flowers and simple little details? Start with sculptural branches, pale table settings or a few carefully placed stems.
These ideas include understated arrangements plus some fuller, more colorful looks you can borrow details from.
You can keep things simple or go all out with a statement backdrop. I especially love the small flower arrangements and patterned crane cards.
There’s plenty here to save for your ceremony, reception tables or welcome display.
Wedding decor ideas worth saving
mauve flowers and curling branches
We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous arrangement. I love the tall mauve bloom and those dark branches curling out to the sides.
The white flowers sit much lower in a shallow clear bowl.
Ask your florist to leave the individual stems visible if you want this same open look.
sweeping white drapes
How beautiful is this ceremony backdrop? Long white drapes loop across the dark carved building, with white flowers spilling down on either side.
This one is much fuller than a minimal setup. If you want a simpler version, borrow one sweeping curve and a smaller cluster of flowers rather than copying the whole installation.
colorful lantern ceiling
Who says you have to leave out color? These red, orange and pale yellow lanterns look so pretty above the white-covered tables.
The different sizes make the ceiling especially fun.
For a quieter palette, try the same scattered arrangement with cream and pale peach lanterns.
taupe runner and cream flowers
If you are looking for a simple table idea to build on, this one is for you. A crinkled taupe runner sits over a white table covering, with matching napkins at each place.
I love the little gold-colored napkin rings. Keep those if you want to echo the cutlery and fine edges on the plates.
moss and seating cards
This seating-card display may just be one of my favorites here. The little cards sit among mossy mounds, dark flat pieces and loose flower stems on a round table.
Try a taller flower arrangement toward the back like this one. Leave room around the cards so your guests can find their names.
cream plumes along the aisle
Don’t want a flower arrangement on every chair? No problem!
These clear and amber-colored jugs sit beside the seating instead, filled with tall cream plumes and leafy green stems.
For your own aisle, keep the jugs outside the walking space and repeat the same colors along the rows.
black vase and bare branches
I am obsessed with how simple this is. A small rounded black vase holds two branching stems, with a little berry cluster reaching out to the left.
You don’t need a full bouquet to borrow this idea for a side table.
clipped seating chart
Looking for a seating display without lots of flowers? This dark board has four rows of cord with little clips, plus greenery across the bottom.
The white lettering at the top reads “find your seat.”
Add your seating cards to the empty clips. I’d choose plain cream cards to keep the finished display understated.
parasols and yellow flowers
The yellow flowers and orange lanterns are so pretty together here. Overlapping pale parasols fill the backdrop, with a trail of white flowers hanging near the top.

There’s a lot going on in this display. For a smaller welcome corner, try one patterned parasol beside a low arrangement of yellow blooms.
mossy mounds and pale leaves
This is such a lovely way to decorate below a table rather than filling the top. White blooms and pale leaves with dark veins rise above green mossy mounds.
The long green strands trailing around the base are my favorite part. You could borrow this idea for the front of a welcome table.
blush cushions and candleholders
How pretty are these rows of blush bolster cushions? Each one sits on a pale rectangular pad along the low garden ledges.
Tall gold-colored candleholders stand together beside the dark planters.
If you’re borrowing this low-seating idea, offer standard-height chairs as an option too.
tall columns and white blooms
Don’t want an arch over your ceremony space? No problem there!
This setup uses two tall tan columns topped with dark greenery and white flowers, leaving the middle open.
I love the round patch of white petals on the grass. It’s a sweet detail to borrow for the spot where you’ll stand.
patterned crane cards
How adorable are these folded cranes? The pink floral patterns look so pretty beside the plain white seating cards.
Each little bird sits around the base of a card.

Choose a few coordinating patterns if you want this same mix. There’s no need for every crane to match.
black candleholders and pale flowers
I love this table with its tall black candleholders and scattered pale flowers. The dark-rimmed plates look gorgeous beside the loosely gathered white napkins.
Try this combination if you want neutral decor with a little more black. The slim candles are a detail I’d keep.
welcome sign and folding fans
This welcome setup has so many lovely little details. There’s a large pale sign with a patterned border, a round table and baskets of green-and-cream folding fans.
For your own entrance, try pairing a simple name sign with matching fans. Keep the peach-toned flowers nearby if you want a little color.
amber glasses and pillar candles
This is one of my favorite table ideas on the list. I love the amber-colored glasses beside the white pillar candles and cream flowers.
The deeper red blooms are such a pretty addition.

Leave your tabletop uncovered if you want to follow this look. Pale napkins and green place cards can bring in the lighter colors.
oversized white petal backdrop
If you are looking for a statement backdrop, then this one is for you. Huge white petal-like shapes overlap behind two brown chairs, with white flowers gathered around the base.
I am obsessed with those wavy edges. Keep the chairs simple if you’re choosing a backdrop with this much detail.
green bottle flower vases
Don’t want matching vases across every table? Try bottles like these instead.
The green-tinted bottle in front still has its illustrated label, with long stems and a broad leaf rising above it.
For your version, group a few clean bottles with small flower arrangements rather than hiding every label.
brown and cream chair drapes
Last but definitely not least, we have these pretty two-tone chair decorations. The brown and cream drapes gather behind each cross-back chair, with a pale rose and trailing greenery at the center.
I’d save this detail for the couple’s chairs if you want a smaller touch rather than decorating every seat.
