Looking for modern mediterranean wedding decor with a little personality? Think leafy entrances, blue-and-white pitchers and lemons tucked between flowers.
These ideas mix full wedding setups with sculptural pieces you could bring into your own celebration.
You can keep things simple with white flowers or go all out with bright pink blooms. Start with your favorite colors, then choose the little details you’d love to see on your tables.
Mediterranean wedding decor ideas worth saving
white flowers around the doorway
We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous flower-covered entrance. I love how the greenery follows the arch above the window before trailing down both sides of the doorway.
If your venue has a similar entrance, ask your florist for small white flowers tucked throughout the leaves. The tall white candles beside it are a lovely finishing touch.
seaside flowers and lemons
How pretty is this seaside display? White flowers fill pale oversized pots and baskets, with bright yellow lemons clustered around their bases.
Try grouping your arrangements at different heights like these. Keep a few yellow flowers in the mix if you want to bring that citrus color a little higher.
blue-and-white pitchers
I am obsessed with these patterned pitchers. The pale blue flowers and white lilies look so pretty above those dark blue swirls.

For a similar table, pair your pitchers with navy napkins and a blue runner. Don’t forget the scattered white petals if you love that extra floral detail.
draped arch and feathery plumes
If you’re drawn to a more boho ceremony setup, this one is for you. White drapes hang from a brown rectangular arch, with tall beige plumes gathered at opposite corners.
The hanging lantern in the middle is my favorite part. Smaller lanterns line the aisle beside the long fringed runner.
a rippled white sculpture
Don’t want every decoration to be a flower arrangement? This white sculpture offers a different starting point.
I love its curling edges and all those fine lines across the surface.
This is a standalone piece rather than a wedding setup. You could borrow the idea for a welcome-table accent on a plain white pedestal.
a branching cream sculpture
This branching cream sculpture is such a fun alternative to the usual vase shapes. The uneven openings and cutouts give you plenty to look at without adding any color.
For your wedding, I’d try one like this as a display-table accent. It’s shown without flowers here.
I’d leave it that way so you can see all those connected branches.
pears grapes and leafy stems
This is actually one of my favorite table details here. The green grapes and halved pear look so lovely beside the white handled vase.
A smaller brown vase holds just a few narrow leaves. Keep that mix of a full arrangement and a tiny one if you want to follow this look.
flowers framing an open arch
If you are looking for a ceremony backdrop with lots of flowers, then this one is for you. White, pale pink and soft green blooms climb on either side of the couple.
I especially love that the flowers don’t cover the arch overhead. Ask for separate floral columns if you want your venue’s details to stay visible.
citrus garlands and tall candles
Give your reception tables a leafy middle with a garland like this. Yellow citrus sits among the greenery while tall candles rise above it in clear sleeves.
The little sprigs on the white napkins are so pretty too. That’s a detail worth carrying over even if you choose a smaller centerpiece.
lemon centers and amber glasses
Want the citrus look without a garland running the whole length of the table? Try these little lemon-and-greenery clusters instead.
I love the amber-colored glasses beside the pale plates. The tied napkins each have a small green sprig, which brings a little of the centerpiece over to every setting.

bright pink doorway flowers
How gorgeous is this pink entrance? The bougainvillea branches spread beyond the curved frame, with deeper pink roses tucked between them.
If you want to move away from white wedding flowers, save this one. I’d keep the surrounding decor simple and let those bright blooms do their thing.
pale vessels and white candles
Don’t want to fill every vase with flowers? No problem! This table pairs an upright pale vessel with another resting on its side.
Small white flower arrangements and tall candle sleeves surround them. I love that the vessels are part of the decoration rather than just containers.
airy white flower stems
This white flower arrangement may just be my favorite for a simpler table. The long stems lean in different directions above a small speckled bowl.
Try a twisted white candle beside yours like the one here. The little textured votive holders are lovely without making the table feel crowded.
orange flowers at the bar
The orange and blue pairing is so cute in this bar setup. Whole and halved oranges form a mound beneath orange flowers, right above the blue-and-white patterned front.

If you want a colorful detail away from the dinner tables, this is a great place to try it. Keep your display to one side so there’s room for the glasses.
little trees along the steps
Welcome your guests with a row of leafy trees like these. The tan-covered pots sit at different levels along the steps, with white flowers gathered around the trunks.
The little white bows are such a sweet detail. I’d keep those if you want the entrance to feel a little more dressed up.
round tables and angular lanterns
I love this round white table with the brown chairs. The dark-framed lanterns sit among low white flowers, with brown chargers repeated at each place setting.
If you’re keeping your colors neutral, this gives you plenty to work with. Try knotted white napkins like these for a simple finishing touch.
white lanterns overhead
Who doesn’t love a little overhead lighting? These round white lanterns hang among strings of small bulbs, with several sizes mixed together.
For an outdoor reception, ask your venue about a similar arrangement above the dining area. I’d keep the lanterns all white just like this.

an arched mirror seating chart
This seating chart is so pretty! I love the tall arched mirror between the cream panels, especially with the gold-colored lights on either side.
The white flowers gathered at the bottom are worth keeping if you recreate the idea. Rounded seating cards echo the mirror without covering it.
olive branches and golden details
If you’re looking for a centerpiece without big flower arrangements, go with leafy olive branches in pale handled pots. The branches spread out above the table while smaller sprigs sit beside the plates.
I especially love the little gold-colored votive holders. They look lovely with the peach-colored dishes and white napkins.
artichokes and deep purple flowers
Last but definitely not least, we have this lovely green and purple table. Artichokes and red grapes sit beside an arrangement of dark blooms, small white flowers and wispy greenery.

The muted purple napkins are my favorite finishing detail. Try a similar shade if you want to bring the flower colors into your place settings.
