European Inspired Wedding Details to Save

white roses and tall candles

We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous gold-tone candelabra. I love the white roses tucked between the candles and all those leafy stems trailing down the sides.

If you want to follow this look, ask for a loose arrangement that leaves some of the tall stand showing.

a simple leafy table runner

Don’t want to go all out with flowers? No problem!

This long table keeps things simple with a narrow greenery runner, pale knotted napkins and slender candles. The brown cross-back chairs look so pretty against the light tablecloth.

an ornate mirror seating chart

How pretty is this seating chart? The scrolling gold-colored frame is my favorite part. Plain white cards sit in neat columns across the mirror, each with a little round seal at the top.

Choose simple cards like these if you want the frame to be the main decoration.

blue goblets and patterned plates

I am obsessed with this blue-and-white table setting. The patterned plates and blue goblets are so cute together, especially with those wide brown chargers.

Keep your flowers mostly white with a little yellow if you want to try the same color combination.

long ivory chair bows

If you are looking for a simple ceremony decoration, this one is for you. Ivory bows dress up the aisle-side chairs, with long tails reaching down onto the grass.

You don’t need to add flowers to every chair to make it look pretty.

a garden arch with mirrors

There’s so much to love about this garden entrance! The oval mirrors, trailing greenery and lantern-style lights make it feel a little storybook.

White draping hangs inside the arch while red and white flowers sit at the top and base. Borrow the framed-mirror detail if you want something different from an all-flower arch.

chandeliers above the dinner table

I am obsessed with these glowing chandeliers. The hanging bead strands are gorgeous above a table filled with white flowers and tall candleholders.

If you’re choosing one big reception detail, this is a lovely one to bring to your planner. Keep the white place settings if you want to follow the look here.

lavender pots and lilac bows

How cute are these little lavender pots? The lilac bows and tied-on cards make them feel extra special without hiding the terracotta-colored pots.

I love that the purple continues onto the napkins. Try a small lavender sprig at each place setting to bring the same idea around the table.

scalloped trays and little dishes

If you love mixing different shapes, save this collection for inspiration. There are silver-tone trays, shell-shaped dishes, footed bowls and a little candelabra.

For your wedding, you might use a scalloped tray beneath the guest book or a small dish for place cards. They don’t all have to match.

an arched backdrop with lemons

This is actually one of my favorite backdrops on the list. I love the cream-colored arches and the flowers spilling out of baskets on either side.

Pots, lanterns and yellow lemons fill the space below. If you want a similar setup, group your decorations at different heights rather than lining everything up.

fruit and ivory candles

Don’t want a flower-filled centerpiece? Try this mix of red grapes, apples, figs and ivory candles instead.

The cut figs are especially pretty beside the darker fruit.

For your own version, I’d choose flameless candles to keep the same look without open flames close to the decorations.

a cake table beneath a mirror

How gorgeous is this cake display? The three-tier cake has little piped swags that look so sweet beneath the ornate mirror.

Smaller desserts sit on stands around it, with pale flowers on either side. Try mixing stand heights rather than placing every dessert directly on the table.

greenery around a doorway

I love this loose greenery arrangement beside the doorway. The long leaves, wispy branches and small white flowers look beautiful against the pale wall.

Save this one if you’d rather decorate a corner than frame the whole entrance.

a blue and yellow lemon bar

The lemon lovers are going to love this! Blue-and-yellow tile-style patterns cover the bar, with lemon illustrations around the sign.

There are lemons in baskets, on the counter and beneath the little trees too. For a smaller version, try the patterned bar front with just a bowl of lemons on top.

blue patterned reception tables

This is another blue-and-white idea, but it’s a little different from the plates above. Here, the pattern covers the tablecloths, with plain white dishes and pale flowers on top.

I especially love the flower arrangements at the ends of the tables. They bring a little of that blue and lilac all the way down to the ground.

white flowers along the aisle

With a backdrop like this, I’d keep the ceremony colors simple too. White flowers and greenery sit beside rows of pale oval-back chairs, with clusters of white pillar candles along the aisle.

The larger arrangements at the entrance are a lovely detail to borrow, even if your venue looks completely different.

pink floral plates

How sweet are these plates? I love the pink flowers, little blue accents and green leaves around the edges.

For your reception, pair plates like these with plain napkins so you can still see the floral border. A pale pink napkin would be a pretty choice.

pastel flowers in a tall urn

This flower arrangement may just be a favorite. The pale lilac roses, pink flower clusters and trailing greenery look so pretty in the decorative urn.

Ask for a loose shape like this if you love branches reaching out to the sides rather than a tightly rounded bouquet.

blush cards with tiny flowers

These place cards are such a pretty little detail. Each blush card has dark script, a copper-colored seal and a tiny pink flower sprig.

Try your initials on the seals if you want to personalize the same idea. I’d keep the rest of the card just as simple.

curving tables beneath string lights

Last but definitely not least, we have this gorgeous winding table arrangement. I love how the white-covered tables curve through the courtyard beneath the string lights.

Low green-and-white flowers follow the tables from one end to the other. Bring this picture to your planner if you want to explore a layout beyond straight rows.
