20 Shabby Chic Wedding Decor Ideas With Roses and Vintage-Inspired Details

Looking for shabby chic wedding decor ideas with pretty flowers and little vintage-inspired touches? Think rose-filled teacups, patterned doilies and a suitcase for your cards.

These pictures give you plenty to work with, from small table details to a whole floral photo backdrop.

You can keep things simple or go all out. Pick a few details you love, then carry those colors through your tables, signs and flowers.

I especially love the pink roses with pale green!

Shabby chic wedding details worth saving

white doilies and pillar candles

We’re starting off strong with this pretty white doily runner. I love how the different circles and floral patterns overlap along the brown tabletop.

Try the same mix down your reception tables with a cluster of white pillar candles. Choose flameless ones if you’re placing them directly on the doilies.

roses in a floral teacup

How cute is this little centerpiece? The pink roses almost match the flowers on the teacup. Tiny white blooms fill the spaces between them.

Keep the matching saucer underneath if you want to follow this look. That gold-colored edge is such a pretty finishing touch.

a frame full of roses

I am obsessed with this distressed cream frame. The pink floral panels, little bouquet and mirrored sections look so lovely together.

For your wedding, you could borrow this idea for a display beside the guest book. Leave a few panels plain if you’d like to add your initials or wedding date.

a bow around the cutlery

If you are looking for a small detail to bring into your place settings, this one is for you. A wide white floral bow wraps around the cutlery over a folded white napkin.

Those flower-decorated handles are my favorite part.

pink roses under a lid

Don’t want another big bouquet on your welcome table? No problem! Try a clear lidded jar filled with pale pink flowers instead.

The roses here curl around inside the jar rather than standing in a neat bunch. I’d keep that loose arrangement for your own display.

lettered doily decorations

The pale blue letters are so cute against these white scalloped doilies. Each letter gets its own circle, with the patterned edges still showing.

You could use this idea for a welcome banner across your guest-book table. Keep the lettering large and simple like the letters shown here.

a suitcase for cards

This card display may just be one of my favorites. I love the tiny clips holding the letters across the open suitcase lid.

The cream, tan and dusty pink rosettes are adorable.

Leave the bottom open for cards, just like this. There’s already plenty of decoration around the lid and handle.

flower-filled hanging birdcages

How gorgeous are these birdcages? Pale pink and purple flowers spill through the white bars, with blue blooms and green stems hanging underneath.

If you want to try this above a display table, ask your venue about secure hanging points. Different heights would give you the same scattered arrangement.

jars with hearts and buttons

If you love little details, then this one is for you. There are white patterned bands, tiny bows, heart decorations and even a row of buttons.

The jars don’t all match, which is what I love about them. For your tables, you could fill a few with flowers and leave the others as decorative accents.

weathered doors and flower wreaths

Give your welcome area a little backdrop of its own with this door display. Two paneled doors frame a slatted center section, with a small white table in front.

I especially love the pale pink and white wreaths. Keep one on each side if you want to follow this arrangement.

chandeliers among the branches

Want to go all out with your reception decor? These chandeliers hanging among the trees are absolutely gorgeous.

The dangling ornaments above the tables make the setting even prettier.

Low pink-and-cream flower arrangements sit below them. This is one to plan with your venue and a professional lighting team rather than treating it as a quick DIY.

pastel ribbons on chairs

I love these long pink, pale blue and cream ribbons. The little flower clusters at the tops of the chairs are just too cute together.

Try this on your aisle chairs if you only want a few decorated seats. Let the ribbon tails hang at slightly different lengths like these.

red flowers and folded pages

Who says you have to stick to pale pink? These red roses and little red blooms look so pretty tucked around the folded book pages.

The open books have pages fanned into pointed shapes. For a similar wedding display, you could use spare printed pages rather than folding a book you want to keep.

a ladder photo display

This is such a sweet way to bring photographs into your wedding decor. Rows of pictures hang from little clips across a ladder, with greenery and small white flowers down the sides.

Choose photos you’d love to share with your guests. A mix of older and newer pictures would work beautifully here.

a blush and cream bouquet

Don’t want lots of trailing greenery in your bouquet? This rounded bunch keeps the attention on the flowers.

I love the big blush blooms nestled between the smaller cream ones.

The tan wrap covers just the upper part of the stems. You could repeat that same color on your table jars to connect the details.

ruffles and flowers on the cake

I am obsessed with this ruffled cake. The rows of cream-colored frills are so pretty, plus those pink and ivory flower decorations give you plenty to look at.

Bring this picture to your cake designer if you love the combination. I’d keep the stand simple so you can enjoy all those little details.

pale green rose crates

The pink and pale green pairing is so cute on these crates. Large rose designs cover the fronts, with smaller flowers continuing around the sides.

You could use similar crates to hold packaged favors at your reception. Leave the flower-covered fronts facing out rather than hiding them behind another arrangement.

an ornate gold welcome sign

If you’re looking for a welcome sign with a little more decoration, go with an ornate oval frame like this. The gold-colored curls and flowers surround a simple pale center.

Add your own welcome message, names and date. The mix of small lettering and larger script is lovely here.

a floral wall and pink chair

This is one of my favorite shabby chic wedding decor ideas on the list. I love the different floral prints across the backdrop, especially with that pink buttoned chair in front.

The curled edges and scattered flower accents keep it from looking too neat. Save this one if you want a separate little photo spot at your reception.

hanging jars on dark boards

Last but definitely not least, we have these hanging jar decorations. Each clear jar hangs from a curved hook on a dark board, with small pebbles beneath a candle.

For a wedding version, I’d choose flameless candles and place a pair near your welcome display. The green candle is a nice little touch of color.
