20 Palm Springs Wedding Ideas With Colorful Flowers and Retro Details

Looking for palm springs wedding inspiration with plenty of color? Pink place settings, orange signs and a poolside disco ball give you lots to work with.

These ideas bring together reception details, wedding looks and photo inspiration, so you can pick the parts that feel most like you.

You can keep things simple or go all out. I especially love the bright flowers and retro shapes.

Even a little wavy drinks menu is worth saving!

pink bows and green goblets

How cute is this pink place setting? I love the oversized napkin bow across the plate and the little tag tucked underneath.

Those green goblets look so pretty beside the pink, orange and white flowers.

Try this pairing if you want colorful tables without choosing a different color for every piece.

an ornate doorway portrait

This doorway may just be one of my favorite photo backdrops here. The carved brown doors and white arch are gorgeous, with bright pink flowers down one side.

If your venue has an entrance you love, ask your photographer to include a full-length portrait there. Leave room in the frame for those details.

a mid-century moodboard

Not sure how to bring your ideas together? This moodboard mixes pink, burgundy, olive green and tan with patterned walls, a fringed umbrella and a little bar cart.

Start with a few colors you love, then add photos of the furniture and flowers you’re considering. I’d definitely keep that palm-shaped lamp on the inspiration board.

citrus and a colorful bar menu

I am obsessed with this bar display. The menu has an orange tab and pink lettering, with a separate lime-green BAR cutout beside it.

They look so cute with the bright flowers. Even the grapefruit has little pearl-like decorations!

For your own version, try a rounded menu sign with a small citrus arrangement beside it. Keep the lettering easy to read.

patterned cocktail-hour details

If you are looking for lots of cocktail-hour inspo, then this collage is for you. There are little lamps, wavy signs and an orange-and-pink patterned table covering.

The citrus-topped stirrers are a favorite detail too. Pick one or two of these ideas for your bar rather than feeling like you need every single piece.

pink candles and little flower vases

Don’t want one huge centerpiece? No problem!

This setup uses smaller flower arrangements between tall pink candles in clear cylinders. The burgundy blooms are so pretty mixed with peach and orange.

Ask your florist about a similar mix of little vases along your tables.

a flower-filled drinks window

How gorgeous is this little serving window? The pink and red roses reach above the drinks sign while long burgundy flowers trail below the ledge.

A wavy-edged menu with pink lettering finishes the display. I’d keep the flowers on one side just like this.

yellow patterns and pastel flowers

This is such a pretty way to bring a pattern onto your reception tables. The pale yellow geometric table covering sits beneath pink and yellow flowers, white plates and brown chargers.

I especially love the clear chairs here. Try a small pink card at each place if you want to repeat the flower colors.

a red floral ceremony frame

Love red flowers? Deep red and pink blooms climb both sides of this rectangular ceremony frame, with greenery gathered around the bottom.

For a similar desert-inspired ceremony, leave the middle open so the landscape stays visible. The scattered pink and white petals are another lovely detail to borrow.

orange doors and white details

Who needs an extra photo backdrop when you have doors like these? I am in love with the bright orange against the white patterned wall.

The white bouquet and long white dress keep the portrait simple. Save this as a reminder to look for bold architectural details when planning your photos.

a poolside disco ball

I am obsessed with this poolside reception. The big disco ball, pink candles and pink-lit palms make such a fun combination.

If you want to go a little further with your evening decor, ask your venue team about a safely suspended disco ball. The strings of lights are worth keeping in the plan too.

little cacti and white candles

Don’t want bright flowers on every table? This cactus-and-succulent centerpiece gives you another direction.

The small gray pots sit between white candles and a simple table-number card.

This one is tagged San Clemente, but the little cacti and white candles are details worth borrowing for your own tables.

pasta and a shared dinner moment

Not every wedding photo needs to be a posed portrait. This close-up of a couple serving pasta is such a sweet dinner detail, with little white flowers and pink menu lettering on the table.

If candid meal photos appeal to you, mention them to your photographer. You don’t have to put your fork down for every picture.

an orange wavy welcome sign

Welcome everyone with a bright orange sign like this one. I love the cream lettering and little star shapes, but those bows at the top might be my favorite part.

Try pink and peach flowers around the base to follow the same color combination.

a retro lounge on the lawn

This little lounge is so cute! A low rust-colored sofa sits beside red and white chairs, with a round coffee table in the middle.

The shiny gold-colored poufs are a fun extra touch.

If you’re planning a separate seating area, try grouping the pieces around one rug like this.

orange flowers and candlelit tables

Here is another colorful reception idea, but this time the tabletops are left uncovered. Orange and deep pink flowers sit between tall white candles, with pale patterned napkins at each place.

I love the little flower vases mixed among the fuller arrangements. You don’t need every vase to look the same.

a white mini and dark suit

If you are looking for a shorter wedding outfit, this one is for you. The long-sleeve white mini dress looks adorable with white strap shoes and a small pink bouquet.

Beside it, the dark suit and slim tie keep things classic. Save this pairing if you like a little retro outfit inspiration.

pastel suits in every shade

Why stick to black if you love color? This suit collage has so much to choose from, including peach, lilac, pale blue, sage green and yellow.

I’d choose the sage green with a white shirt. Try a matching vest if you like the three-piece looks shown here, or leave the vest off for a simpler outfit.

oranges and a leafy table print

How sweet is this yellow-and-peach table? The little flower arrangement sits beside a wavy table-number card, with oranges tucked among the candles.

I love the green leafy print underneath it all. Keep the plates plain white if you want to try this mix of fruit, flowers and pattern.

a long veil against the desert

Last but definitely not least, we have this lovely desert portrait. The long patterned veil stretches out beside the white dress, with a dark reddish-brown suit and pale bouquet alongside it.

If you love this look, ask your photographer about including a wider landscape portrait. Those rocky hills deserve a little room in the picture.
