Looking for an art nouveau invitation suite with winding flowers and gorgeous little details? There’s plenty to choose from here, from cream poppies on black to pale green borders and burgundy floral wraps.
Some images show full suites while others offer a single invitation or envelope detail worth saving.
You can keep the colors simple or go all out with peacocks and patterned liners. There are a few related botanical, cathedral-window and Art Deco ideas here too, so you can see which direction you like best.
Invitation designs and details worth saving
cream poppies on black
We’re starting off strong with these gorgeous cream poppies. I love the long gold-colored stems winding around the black border.
The names sit inside a pale pointed frame with plenty of room around them.
If you want to carry this look onto an RSVP card, try using just one poppy in a corner.
white flowers and blush panels
How pretty is this floral arch? The white flowers have little golden centers, with green leaves tucked between them.
Those narrow blush panels down the sides are a favorite detail too.

Keep the lettering simple if you want a border this detailed.
pink blooms and a blue arch
I am obsessed with this blue-and-green arch. It’s so pretty with the pink flowers climbing up both sides and the pointed leaves at the bottom.
The rounded card corners are worth keeping if you’re asking for a similar design.
gold-colored floral outlines
Don’t want to add lots of different colors? No problem! This cream invitation keeps the flowers and curling leaves in one gold-colored shade. I love the large blooms across the top with the smaller script underneath.
sage flowers and a tassel fan
This is actually one of my favorite sets here. The sage green, blush pink and white flowers look so cute across the different pieces.
There’s even a shaped fan with a long green tassel!
Try a round RSVP card like this one if you want to mix shapes without changing your floral design.
blue lilies and an oval card
If you love lilies, this one is for you. The pale blue cover has a flower-filled oval opening, while the white invitation keeps its floral outlines much fainter.
I especially love the pale peach details card. The flowers and little butterfly extend beyond its oval edge.
peacocks and jewel colors
Want to go all out with color? There’s so much to love here, from the green peacock inside the envelope to the pink flowers against burgundy.
The white invitation is much simpler than the patterned piece beside it. Try that same mix if you want bold artwork without putting it behind all your wording.
red bell-shaped flowers
How gorgeous is this red floral wrap? The little bell-shaped flowers follow the cut edges, with long leaves sweeping up from the bottom.
That dark oval rose seal is such a pretty finishing detail.

pink arches and curling borders
This floral invitation may just be a favorite so far. I love the pink arch above the names and the looping red lines along the bottom.
The matching cards use the same flowers in different arrangements. You don’t have to repeat the whole invitation border on every piece.
little birds and wavy layers
Aww, those tiny birds are so sweet! This set leans toward a woodland garden look, with branching trees and little flowers across the green lower panels.
The wavy edges leave each layer visible. Keep the cream upper card simple if you want to try a similarly detailed wrap.
a colorful cathedral window
If you’re drawn to window-inspired invitations, take a look at this one. The pointed shape and round floral window lean more cathedral-inspired than the winding botanical designs above.
I love the little sections of orange, blue, green and pink. The plain details card lets that colorful invitation have its moment.
burgundy flowers and a bow
I am obsessed with this burgundy and pink combination. The floral edges curve around the blooms instead of stopping in a straight line.
A matching burgundy bow crosses the middle.
If you choose a wrap like this, I’d leave off extra charms and let those big flowers show.
purple irises on navy
The envelopes deserve a little attention too, right? These purple and pale blue irises spread across the navy front and repeat inside the flap.
I love the wide gold-colored border around the liner. Try bringing one of those iris colors into your smaller cards.
burgundy tassels and a scalloped flap
This is an envelope detail rather than a shown wedding suite, but the burgundy flowers and olive-colored vines are lovely inspiration. The curved flap has a thin gold-colored edge with a floral seal below it.
Borrow the burgundy tassel idea for your own stationery if you like a more decorated envelope.
calla lilies and shaped cards
How cute is that flower-shaped RSVP card? The white and burgundy calla lilies repeat on the main invitation, with a matching floral liner inside the sage envelope.
The dark green details card is just as pretty. I’d keep this mix of colors rather than making every piece cream.
rose arch with a little heart
This is another window-inspired design, but it’s a little different from the colorful one above. I love the burgundy heart tucked into the pointed arch and the pink roses winding around it.
The piece beside it leaves most of the cream background open, with flowers gathered in opposite corners.
green curves and tiny flowers
Don’t want to go overboard with the flowers? No problem!
These tall white cards have sweeping green curves down one side, with just a few tiny yellow blooms.
There’s no full border here. The small names near the bottom keep the front wonderfully simple.
bold blue floral border
I love this deep blue border with its looping stems and stylized flowers. The cream center keeps the wording separate from all those bold shapes.
For your own version, try carrying the top flower onto a smaller reply card.
swans and dragonfly details
If you are looking for lots of different details, then this one is for you. There are pale pink swans, dragonfly motifs and a gold-colored floral cutout border.
The pale green invitation uses straighter geometric lines beside those nature-inspired pieces. I especially love the pink swans against dark green.
gold-colored geometric folds
Last but definitely not least, we have a geometric alternative. This suite leans Art Deco rather than Art Nouveau, with angular outlines and overlapping fan-like shapes instead of flowers.
The cream cards and gold-colored wrap look so pretty together. Save this one if you’ve found yourself choosing straight lines over curling stems.
