Looking for lake como wedding inspiration with gorgeous views and little details worth saving? Think white rose bouquets, flower-lined aisles and dinner tables right beside the water.
These ideas include everything from boat portraits to a striped gelato cart.
You can keep your flowers simple or go all out with a pink floral arch. I especially love the outdoor tables beneath the greenery.
There’s plenty here to help you picture your own celebration.
Lake Como wedding ideas worth saving
white roses on the water
We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous boat portrait. I love the white rose bouquet beside the bride’s floral-patterned gown and long veil.
The black bow tie and white boutonniere keep the groom’s look just as classic.

Ask your photographer for a close-up like this with the mountains still visible behind you.
cat-eye sunglasses and a long train
How cute are those white cat-eye sunglasses? The bride’s train stretches across the pale boat seats while the couple sits together at the far end.
If you want a few less formal portraits, bring along your sunglasses. This is such a fun little change from looking straight at the camera.
red flowers on the terrace
This terrace portrait may just be one of my favorites here. I love the bright red flowers above the wall and the oversized planter beside the couple.
The bride’s long white train spreads out beautifully below the floral details on her skirt.
Keep a compact white bouquet if you want to follow this look.
pastel flowers along the grass
If you’re looking for a ceremony setting with a garden feel, this one is for you. White, peach and lilac flowers line the grass aisle between rows of pale oval-backed chairs.
Ask your florist for a taller arrangement on one side of the ceremony space rather than a full arch. I love how much of the hillside you can still see.
lemons and white flowers
I am obsessed with these lemon centerpieces. The bright yellow fruit looks so pretty among the dark green leaves and smaller white flower arrangements.
Try the same mix on a white table setting. A little green sprig on each napkin is a lovely finishing touch.
a toast beneath the chandeliers
Who wouldn’t want a photo of this toast? Raised glasses fill both sides of the long table beneath glowing chandeliers and a painted ceiling.
The white flowers and tall candle holders are gorgeous, but the people are what make this picture. Add a wide reception toast shot to your photography wish list.
a portrait by the garden steps
Don’t want every portrait to be right beside the water? No problem!
This couple stands at the foot of a staircase surrounded by clipped greenery and peach-colored walls.
I love how the train curves over the path. Ask for a photograph from above to include the steps and a little glimpse of the lake.
a long tree-lined garden
This garden is so pretty all on its own. Tall trees line a long stretch of grass with a pale statue at the far end.
If your venue has a similar garden, consider it for a couple’s portrait rather than adding more decor. There aren’t any wedding decorations here, which is part of what makes this view worth saving.

chandeliers beneath the leaves
I am obsessed with these chandeliers hanging beneath the leafy pergola. The long white table, brown chairs and delicate white flowers are just as lovely.
If you want to try this for your reception, ask your venue about approved hanging decorations. I’d keep the flowers airy like these.
a cream convertible
How gorgeous is this car portrait? The cream convertible has dark red seats, with the bride’s full skirt and train spread beside the car.
Try a photo beside your wedding car before getting in. That way, you can include the whole dress as well as the car.
colorful flowers by the lake
If you love a little color, this table is for you. Pink, peach, pale blue and deep red flowers run down the center in small arrangements.
The pale green cards on the plates are such a pretty detail too.
Mix a few flower colors instead of choosing just one. Keep the tablecloth and plates white to follow this setting.
a bow tie and pink lining
Don’t forget the getting-ready pictures! This black bow tie and white shirt look simple at first, but the open jacket reveals a bright pink lining.
If your outfit has a detail like this, ask your photographer to catch it before you finish dressing.
a candlelit courtyard dinner
This is actually one of my favorite dinner settings on the list. One long table sits beside the shuttered building, with candles and flowers running through the middle.
I love the amber lights against the deep blue lake. Ask for a wide photograph of your reception setting as daylight fades.
a green arch with white flowers
If you are looking for an all-out floral ceremony, then this one is for you. There’s a white aisle, full flower borders and a tall greenery-covered structure with an arched opening.
The hanging greenery at the top is my favorite part. Keep the flowers white with touches of pale green if you want this same look.
a pink and white flower arch
This is another gorgeous lakeside ceremony, but with pink flowers this time. I love how the rounded arch matches the arrangements along the white aisle.
Save this photo if you want a pink-and-white palette. The couple walking out hand in hand is a lovely moment to include in your own wedding album.

a kiss on the boat
How sweet is this boat portrait? The couple shares a kiss with the sparkling water behind them and a pale bouquet between them.

The bride’s square neckline and long veil are so pretty together. This is a lovely reference if you want a boat photograph that includes more of your wedding outfits.
flowers winding around candle stands
I love these tall candle stands with flowers winding around them. Pink and peach arrangements sit below, with more candles glowing across the round tables.
If you want a similar indoor reception, show your florist the flower-covered stands as well as the low centerpieces. It’s the combination I’d keep.
a striped gelato cart
How adorable is this gelato cart? The cream-and-brown stripes, scalloped canopy and oversized wheel are just too cute.
Consider a cart like this if you’d like to serve gelato at your celebration. I’d keep the surrounding decor simple rather than covering up those lovely painted details.
a black convertible by the villa
This is another car portrait worth saving, but it has a different look from the cream convertible above. The black car sits in front of a broad staircase with the villa filling the background.
I especially love the white edging on the groom’s dark jacket. Ask for a wide shot if you want the building to be part of your portrait too.
a simple white rose bouquet
Last but definitely not least, we have this gorgeous white rose bouquet. I love the rounded shape and the little green leaves peeking out beneath the flowers.
The exposed stems keep the bouquet simple beside the gown’s detailed floral pattern. Save a close-up like this for your florist if white roses are on your list.
