20 Wedding Ceremony Arch Decorations With Flowers, Greenery and Pretty Lights

Looking for wedding ceremony arch decorations that feel right for your day? White flowers and flowing drapes are a lovely place to start, but there’s plenty more to choose from.

Think peach roses, leafy arches or a little sparkle hanging above you.

You can keep things simple or go all out. These 20 ideas include full ceremony setups, close-up details and one reception entrance you could adapt for your ceremony.

There’s plenty to save, whether you love an all-white look or want a little more color.

Wedding arch ideas worth saving

white flowers and sweeping drapes

We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous white floral arch. I love the big flower cluster at the upper left and the smaller one farther down the right side.

Ask for a deep sweep of white draping across the top if you want this look. The long ends pooling on the grass are such a pretty finishing touch.

tied-back lakeside curtains

Got a view you don’t want to cover? This arch leaves the lake right in sight, with pale curtains pulled toward the posts.

The white flowers trail down from the left corner while a smaller bunch sits at the right tieback. I’d keep that same uneven arrangement rather than making both sides match.

greenery from top to bottom

Who says your arch needs flowers? This one is covered in rounded leaves, fern-like fronds and trailing greenery. I am obsessed with how full it looks.

A white-and-green bouquet like the one shown here would be a lovely way to carry the colors through.

brown plumes and cream flowers

If you love neutral colors but want plenty of detail, this neutral arrangement is for you. The brown and cream plumes spread out around pleated fan-shaped leaves and pale flowers.

Save this close-up for the large cream rose in the middle. That’s the detail I’d keep when planning a similar arrangement.

peach flowers on a gold circle

How pretty is this peach-and-white combination? The flowers climb up the left side of the gold-colored circle, with another full arrangement on the lower right.

Leave part of the circle uncovered if you want to follow this idea. I love being able to see that curved outline above the flowers.

a hexagon with glowing bulbs

This hexagon arch may just be one of my favorites here. The glowing bulbs trace the edges and dip across the top, with cream and brown flowers tucked into three spots.

The pale drape sweeps from low on the left to high on the right. Ask for that diagonal placement if you want something different from curtains hanging down both sides.

pink roses and hanging lights

If you want to go all out with flowers, then this one is for you. There are pink and cream blooms around the arch, long white flower strands and tiny lights hanging through the opening.

I especially love the petal-lined aisle and the lanterns below. For a similar glow, you could choose battery-operated candles inside your lanterns.

a leafy arch with candlelight

I love this indoor setup. The rounded leafy arch has small patches of pale flowers, but those rows of glowing candles are what make me want to save it.

Try grouping LED candles at different heights beside your arch to borrow the look. You don’t need a curtain behind it when you like the wall already there.

a pointed triangle with white blooms

Don’t want to cover your whole arch? No problem!

This triangular design keeps most of the brown frame visible, with a small white floral cluster high on the left and a longer one lower on the right.

evergreen branches and pinecones

The pinecone tucked into this greenery is such a sweet detail. Dark evergreen sprigs sit beside longer gray-green leaves, with parts of the curved frame still showing.

Save this close-up if you’re planning a winter ceremony and don’t want an arch full of flowers.

big tropical leaves

This is another gorgeous way to skip the flowers. I love the large split leaves mixed with narrow palm-like fronds along the beachside arch.

Keep the greenery full around the corner if you want to follow this look. Those big leaves deserve plenty of room.

sage balloons and trailing greenery

How cute is this balloon arch? The cream, white and sage colors look so pretty with greenery woven between them.

This setup frames an entrance to tables rather than a ceremony spot, but you could borrow the combination for your ceremony backdrop. Keep the mix of little and large balloons if you like this rounded, full look.

cascading white flowers

I am obsessed with these hanging white blooms. The rose-shaped flowers sit across the top while longer strands fall below them at different lengths.

Ask for a few leafy stems to extend beyond the flowers, just like this. They’re such a pretty addition against the plain white backdrop.

sunflowers and burgundy blooms

Love fall colors? Bright yellow sunflowers sit beside deep burgundy blooms, pale peach flowers and brown leaves in this arrangement.

I’d leave some of the twisting branches showing rather than covering the entire arch. They look lovely with this autumn combination.

white florals on a square frame

Don’t want lights, lanterns or extra decorations? This white floral setup is a lovely option. A large arrangement spills over the left corner while a smaller one sits against the draping on the right.

The wide white swoop across the top is my favorite part. I’d keep the ground around this one clear, just as it is here.

a curved arch wrapped in lights

How pretty is this arch after dark? Tiny lights follow the curved frame and hang along the sides, with white drapes gathered beside the opening.

The pale flowers at the top and tiebacks are lovely too. Save this one if the lights are a big part of your wedding plans.

hanging lanterns and blush roses

This is a similar draped arch to the ones above, but the hanging lanterns give it a little something extra. I love how they sit at the two ends of the top beam.

The blush-and-white flowers continue down to the grass, with a crate and more lanterns on the left. You could borrow just that little ground-level grouping if your arch already feels finished.

knotted fringe and rust roses

If you love long fringe, then this one is for you. The cream knotted hanging has little diamond patterns across the top and long strands down both sides.

Rust-colored roses, pale flowers and tall plumes fill the upper left and lower right of the frame. I especially love the layered rugs underneath this lakeside setup.

burgundy and pink drapes

This is one of my favorite color combinations on the list. The burgundy, blush and cream drapes cross over one another beneath the rounded frame, with roses in matching shades.

There’s already a leafy archway behind the setup, so the flowers don’t need to cover everything. Keep the gold-colored lanterns at the bottom if you want that extra detail.

woodland branches and a chandelier

Last but definitely not least, we have this branching woodland arch. I am in love with the little chandelier hanging in the middle!

White flowers, a few pink blooms and green fronds sit between the exposed branches. I’d keep those flower clusters small so you can still see the unusual shape above them.
