20 Boho Ceremony Decor Ideas With Pretty Arches, Flowers and Aisle Details

Looking for boho ceremony decor ideas that go beyond a pampas arch? Think patterned rugs down the aisle, cream fringe behind your vows and baskets filled with flowers.

These pictures give you plenty to choose from, whether you love neutral colors or want a little pink and orange.

You can keep things simple or go all out. Start with your ceremony backdrop, then pick a few details for the aisle and entrance.

There’s even a colorful lounge idea to borrow for the gathering afterward.

Boho ceremony details worth saving

cream fringe and hanging greenery

We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous fringed backdrop. I love the rows of cream knots hanging from the curved branch, especially with those long bundles of greenery on either side.

Keep your own flowers muted if you want to follow this look. The pale pink bouquet is such a pretty detail against all that cream.

pampas-filled baskets

How pretty are these baskets? The tall cream plumes sit beside rows of rounded chair backs, with little green leaves tucked around the bottom.

Try grouping baskets in different heights and shades of brown at your aisle entrance. You don’t need them all to match.

patterned rugs and bright flowers

This aisle may just be one of my favorites here. I love the mix of red, pink and blue in the rugs.

The pink and orange flowers at the end are just as gorgeous.

Choose a few different rug patterns for your own aisle rather than repeating the same one.

cream flowers around a circular arch

If you love sticking to neutral colors, this one is for you. Cream roses and feathery tan plumes cover much of the circular arch, with a curved section left bare on the right.

I’d keep that little opening rather than cover the whole frame.

colorful floor cushions

Don’t want your gathering area to look just like the ceremony seating? This seaside lounge is a separate inspiration idea, with red and orange patterned floor cushions grouped around small tables.

Borrow the cushion colors for a lounge beside your ceremony space. I’d include regular chairs too so guests have a choice.

peacock chairs and a pampas crescent

I am obsessed with these peacock chairs. The tall rounded backs and looping details are so pretty together, especially beneath that sweep of tan pampas.

A plain rectangular rug sits in front of the pair. Keep yours simple too if you want the chairs to be the part you notice first.

lanterns along the aisle

The lantern fans are going to love this! Black lanterns sit on chunky log rounds beside white and pale pink flowers. There’s even a little gold-colored lantern mixed in at the front.

For your own version, vary the lantern heights and keep everything outside the walking path.

crossed poles and peach flowers

This is such a pretty alternative to a rectangular arch. Tall branch poles cross above a hanging white panel, with peach, orange and dark red flowers gathered near the top.

Ask for the flowers to trail farther down one side if you want this same loose arrangement.

beachside hoops and streamers

Don’t want a flower-covered beach backdrop? No problem!

These hanging hoops have detailed white centers and long streamers, with a few feather accents below.

I love how the smaller hoop hangs lower beside the larger one. Keep that staggered placement if you borrow the idea.

a round backdrop with a red rug

There’s so much to love here, from the long cream fringe to the white draping across the circular frame. But that red patterned rug might be my favorite part.

Try a deep red rug beneath a mostly neutral backdrop like this one. The lanterns and tall brown vase are lovely extra details if you want to add more.

double triangle backdrop

If you’re looking for an arch without lots of hanging decorations, go with this double triangle design. Pale flowers climb the upper left side and sit lower on the right, leaving the middle open to the view.

orange stems in handled baskets

How cute is this little flower grouping? The orange berry-like details and peach blooms look gorgeous against the dark brown cabinet.

Try lifting one basket onto a short stool like the one here. You can use battery-operated candles nearby if you’d like a similar glow without open flames.

white flowers and bale seating

This setup takes a more rustic direction with covered bale seating and jars full of little white flowers. I especially love the daisies at the aisle entrance.

The jars sit on stacked crates rather than matching stands. Borrow that detail if you want your flower displays at different heights.

a draped desert arch

I am obsessed with this draped arch. The cream folds and white flowers look so pretty with the dark chairs on either side of the aisle.

Bring the same flowers down into low arrangements beside the chairs to follow this setup. The little black lanterns are worth keeping too.

hanging bulbs and white roses

This is another draped backdrop, but it has a little extra glow. Strands of exposed bulbs hang across the top and down beside the greenery.

I love the white roses gathered at the tied-back sides. For your own setup, ask your decorator to keep the lighting clear of the draping.

a beach triangle and round rug

Looking for something a little simpler for beach vows? This triangle frame has two floral clusters with large fan-shaped leaves, plus a round patterned rug underneath.

The small tall table sits right in the middle. I’d leave the rest of the space open, just like this.

candles and petals on the steps

You don’t have to stop decorating at the aisle. These steps have white petals and clear cylinders holding a mix of pillar and floating candles.

Try a small display at the edge of your entrance steps, keeping the walking area clear. Flameless candles are another option if your venue doesn’t allow open flames.

a welcome sign with tall plumes

Welcome everyone with a sign surrounded by greenery and cream plumes. I love the large split leaf above the lettering and the little patterned vases below.

Use an upright crate to lift a couple of your vases. That gives you a similar arrangement without needing a separate table.

ribbon wands and overhead bunting

How sweet is this ceremony exit? Guests hold long ribbon wands beside a petal-scattered aisle, with triangular bunting and strings of bulbs overhead.

The blue checked ribbons are such a cute detail among the pale ones. Try mixing a small pattern into your ribbon colors rather than keeping every strand plain.

low flowers beneath tall trees

Last but definitely not least, we have this beautiful woodland ceremony. I love the low pink, yellow and white flowers lining the aisle, with guests seated on benches close to the couple.

There’s no tall arch competing with those trees. If your setting looks anything like this, a few ground-level flower arrangements are a lovely direction to take.
