Not quite ready to say goodbye to your wedding flowers? These wedding bouquet preservation ideas give you plenty of inspiration, from pressed flowers around your invitation to little floral ornaments.
There are larger displays too if you’d rather keep the look of a whole bouquet.
You can keep things simple or choose something more personal with your vows, initials or a favorite photo. Start with the pieces you’d love to display, then talk through the preservation options with your chosen maker.
Pretty ways to keep your wedding flowers
flowers around your invitation
We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous invitation display. I love the pale flowers around the blue card, especially that pink bloom with the dark center.
Choose a gold-colored frame with clipped corners if you want this same look. Leave a little space between the flowers so you can still see their individual shapes.
pink blooms and gold initials
How pretty is this? Deep pink and lilac flowers fill a clear square block, with gold-colored initials sitting right over the petals.
If you want a personalized keepsake without adding a whole invitation, try your initials and wedding date like this one.
handwritten notes and a photo
This is one of my favorite ways to bring several wedding keepsakes together. The handwritten pages, couple’s photo and flowers all share one brown frame.

I especially love the scattered cream flowers among the green leaves and pink petals. For your own version, choose a photo small enough to leave room for both notes.
a square full of pale flowers
I am obsessed with the big pale blooms in this clear display. The little pink rosebuds and green stems fill the spaces around them without hiding those wide-open petals.
Ask your maker about a similar arrangement if you’d rather make the flowers the whole design. This one doesn’t need names or a date to look beautiful.
a bouquet inside a lantern
Don’t want to separate your bouquet into individual flowers? This lantern display is a lovely direction to consider.
The tan blooms stay gathered above the white-wrapped stems.
I love that you can still see the bouquet shape. Choose a lantern-style case with enough room for the flower heads and the full length of the handle.
pastel roses under a dome
How cute is this little floral display? The mauve and pink roses are so pretty with the white flowers and dusty blue accents.
Tall, thin sprigs reach above the larger blooms inside the rounded dome. Save this arrangement if you like the idea of a small flower display rather than a flat frame.
a ribbon-tied floral ornament
This ornament may just be my favorite little keepsake here. I love the large gold-colored initial over the pale flowers and pink-edged petals.
A beige ribbon finishes the round design with a bow. You could choose a ribbon in one of your wedding colors for your own version.
hexagons with scattered petals
You don’t have to use whole blooms for a pretty display. These clear hexagonal pieces feature separate tan and blush petals with tiny gold-colored flecks.
I’d keep the scattered arrangement just like this. There’s plenty of clear space around each petal, so even the smaller pieces are easy to notice.
a gold-framed flower collection
If you are looking for a true eye-catcher, then this one is for you. There’s so much to love, from the pale orchids to the purple flowers and trailing green stems.
The gold-colored frame is gorgeous around this full arrangement. Ask for your pressed flowers to be spread across a light background if you want a similar botanical picture.
a jar of dried blooms
Prefer a smaller display without a frame? This jar holds cream petals, pink flowers and rounded green leaves, with a burgundy accent tucked beneath the lid.

The big string bow is such a sweet finishing touch. Use this as display inspiration for flowers that have already been properly dried.
a heart full of purple flowers
I am obsessed with this heart-shaped keepsake. The deep purple flowers look gorgeous beside the bright pink rosebuds and pale yellow blooms.

If your bouquet has bold colors, this is a lovely shape to consider. I’d let the flowers fill the heart without adding any lettering.
pressed flower phone cases
Want something a little different from a shelf display? These clear phone cases show three pretty directions: small purple flowers, one large pink bloom or delicate flowering stems.
The oversized pink flower is my favorite. Ask a maker whether a few of your bouquet flowers could be incorporated into a case that fits your phone.
a burgundy floral clock
This is such a pretty way to combine flowers with a personalized clock. Burgundy petals curve around the pale center, with gold-colored flecks scattered across the face.

The names and date sit beside the hands rather than over the darker flowers. Keep that placement in mind if you’re choosing a similar design.
a bouquet beneath a tall dome
I love this gathered bouquet with its pink, yellow and lilac flowers. The stems remain visible inside a clear jar, all beneath a tall rounded dome.
There’s also a smaller floral piece resting at the base. If you have a boutonniere you’d like to keep, ask about including it beside your bouquet.
pink flowers framing your vows
Your flowers and your vows in one frame? Such a lovely combination.
Large pink and cream blooms surround the two handwritten pages, with clear spaces left around them.
Choose a broad brown frame if you like this look. I’d keep the pages side by side so both sets of words have their own space.
flower heads in drying granules
Before the finished keepsake comes the flower preparation. Here, pale blue-and-white granules are being poured around pink, orange and yellow flower heads in a shallow container.
If you want to explore a drying method like this, follow a flower-drying product’s instructions or ask a preservation specialist. The photo alone doesn’t tell you the product or drying time.
cream flowers beside a wedding photo
How sweet is this photo frame? Large cream flowers fill the left side while little white blooms sit above and around the couple’s picture.
The plain white border keeps the display simple. Try a favorite portrait in one corner rather than putting it right in the middle.
vows with a leafy border
This is another lovely vows display, but it’s a little different from the pink floral frame above. I love the rounded green leaves and pale branching foliage along the edges.
A thin black frame surrounds the two pages and scattered flowers. Save this one if you’d like to include more of your bouquet’s greenery.
two matching floral arches
These matching curved blocks are so pretty together. The cream flowers and pale blue blooms fill both halves, with small orange accents tucked between the leaves.
Initials sit along the bottom of one piece while the date appears on the other. Ask for a paired design if you like the idea of displaying your flowers across two keepsakes.
round keepsakes with cream blooms
Last but definitely not least, we have these lovely round floral keepsakes. I love how each one is different, from the single tan rose to the little clusters of white flowers and green leaves.
You could ask for a small collection using different flowers from your bouquet. A single bloom can look just as pretty as a fuller arrangement.
