20 Wedding Day Food for Bridal Party Ideas, From Brunch to Sweet Treats

Looking for wedding day food for bridal party mornings and getting-ready breaks? Croissant sandwiches, little fruit cups and snack boxes give you plenty to choose from.

There are a few pretty drink setups here too, if you want something to serve alongside the food.

You can keep it simple or go all out with a brunch spread. Pick a few favorites that suit your group, check dietary needs beforehand and plan to keep perishable dishes chilled or properly hot until serving.

Bridal party food and drink ideas worth saving

a colorful brunch spread

We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous brunch table. There are paper-wrapped sandwiches, little burgers and berry-topped cups, with green grapes and orange slices tucked between the platters.

If you want to follow this look, use a few raised stands rather than putting every plate flat on the table. I love how the pink flowers sit among all that colorful food.

mini croissant sandwiches

Don’t want to go all out with lots of different dishes? No problem!

A platter piled with little croissant sandwiches is a lovely place to start. These have generous fillings with green flecks and little dark red pieces.

Choose fillings your group enjoys, then add small labels so nobody has to guess what’s inside.

strawberry-topped fruit cups

How cute are these fruit cups? The strawberries piled on top are my favorite part.

You can see pineapple, grapes and melon through the sides, so there’s plenty of color without any extra decoration.

Put a fork in each cup like the ones here, then bring out a tray when everyone is ready for a break.

a build-your-own bagel board

If you are looking for a spread with lots to choose from, then this one is for you. Plain and seeded bagels surround bowls of spreads, sliced tomatoes, cucumber, avocado and red onion.

I love the little fans of avocado near the bottom. Keep the toppings in their own groups if you want everyone to build their own bagel.

juice carafes and fruit garnishes

This little drinks corner is so pretty. The yellow and pink juices sit beside a bucket of bottles, with berries and orange slices arranged in divided dishes.

For your own version, offer sparkling water alongside any sparkling wine. That way, the fruit-and-juice setup works for people skipping alcohol too.

pasta salad cups

I am obsessed with this way of serving pasta salad. The clear cups show off the spiral pasta, cherry tomatoes and chopped greens, while the black tiered stand keeps the portions together.

Add forks beside the stand if you’re borrowing this idea for a getting-ready lunch.

cheese wedges with grapes

Want something small without a whole grazing table? Try this circle of white-rind cheese wedges topped with walnuts and green grapes.

The looped picks are such a cute finishing touch.

Arrange yours with the pointed ends facing inward to leave that little opening in the middle.

individual charcuterie cones

How adorable are these little cones? There’s folded salami, cheese, olives and breadsticks, plus blueberry skewers with raspberries on top.

The upright holder is worth copying if you choose this presentation. It keeps the cones lined up rather than having them roll around on a tray.

a breakfast wrap buffet

If you’re leaning toward breakfast wraps, save this setup. The foil-wrapped halves sit cut-side up in serving trays, so you can see the different fillings.

Give each option its own label and serving tongs. Ask your caterer to handle the hot-holding setup rather than relying on foil alone.

personalized pizza boxes

OK, this pizza box is just too cute. The red checked border surrounds two little pizza characters dressed for a wedding, with names and a date underneath.

The pizza itself isn’t shown, but the packaging is lovely inspiration for a pizza lunch. You could personalize your own boxes with a wedding sticker instead of printing the whole lid.

berry breakfast jars

I love these little jars with their white bases, berries and oat toppings. Each one has a spoon tucked inside, so the tray looks ready for a breakfast break.

To make your own version, choose yogurt for the base and add strawberries, blueberries and your favorite oat mix.

jalapeño-topped sliders

These sliders may just be one of my favorites here. The golden breaded fillings peek out from glossy buns, with a jalapeño slice pinned onto each top.

If your group has different spice preferences, leave the jalapeños off some of yours and keep the hot sauce on the side.

veggie and hummus cups

Don’t want another big shared dip bowl? No problem there!

These hummus cups hold carrot and celery sticks, cucumber slices and strips of red pepper.

I especially love the bright orange and green together. A small sign at the front keeps the presentation simple.

pink and white doughnuts

OMG, how pretty are these doughnuts? The pink and white icing is lovely on its own, but the tiny bows and daisies make the box even sweeter.

Ask your baker for a mix of decorated and simpler designs like this. Those little bar-shaped toppers are another cute detail to show them.

little thank-you snack boxes

This is such a sweet way to serve individual snacks. Each clear-lidded box has crackers, cheese, fruit and folded salami, finished with a tied bow and a thank-you sticker.

You could add a name to each box if you’re ordering different versions for dietary needs. Keep ingredient details available too.

nuggets and dipping sauces

Who says your food has to be fancy? This tray of golden breaded nuggets sits beside dipping sauces, white plates and a big arrangement of pale pink flowers.

I love the casual food next to the pretty table details. Bring out your favorite nuggets for lunch and let the flowers do the decorating.

savory bites and croissants

Here’s another brunch spread, but this one has lots of little savory baked bites alongside the croissant sandwiches. The raised plates leave room for a large fruit bowl toward the back.

The purple flowers are a pretty touch too. Borrow the different serving heights if you have several platters to fit on one table.

triangle sandwich rows

If you are looking for something simple to serve, this one is for you. Crustless sandwich triangles sit in neat rows, with cucumber, sliced meat, cheese and creamy fillings visible between the bread.

Keep each variety together like this. The little picks help hold the layers in place.

bright drinks with fruit on top

The red and orange drinks are so pretty in this setup. Whole strawberries sit on the tall glasses, while the shorter glasses have little red cherry garnishes.

You could borrow the same presentation for nonalcoholic fruit punches. Add labels with the drink names rather than leaving everyone to choose by color.

dipped pretzels with sprinkles

Last but definitely not least, we have these cute dipped pretzels. I love the mix of colorful sprinkles and thin icing stripes.

The surrounding decorations are Christmas-themed, but the pretzel idea doesn’t have to be. For a wedding-day version, choose sprinkles that match your colors and serve them on a plain platter.
