We scrolled through hundreds of pins to build this one. The ones that made the cut are doable in an afternoon. They’re cheap enough to try twice if the first attempt flops. Genuinely nice to look at once they’re dry.
Some of these need special paint markers, some just need what’s already in a craft drawer. Either way, nothing here requires a kiln or a degree in ceramics, haha!

We’re starting off strong with a watercolor splash coffee mug. Loose color blends across white ceramic like it happened by accident, which is honestly the whole charm!
Wetting the brush more than expected always helps this technique. Thin paint moves and pools; that’s exactly the look you’re chasing here. Every time that step gets skipped, the whole thing looks stiff.
