We’re starting off strong with the modern farmhouse look. Shiplap walls, a chunky wood coffee table and a neutral sofa never go out of style. My living room looked like this for three straight years before I got bored.
This is the room that photographs well even when it’s a little messy. Honestly that’s the whole appeal, lol!
Even the dog somehow matched the color palette back then.

Two toned walls sound intimidating but they’re really just paint and a steady hand with tape. Painting the bottom half a darker shade grounds the whole room. My first attempt had a wobbly line I still notice every single day, haha!
