This list is for anyone starting from zero. Beginners, renters, busy people who just want their walls to look finished without a big budget, this one’s for you!
Nobody has time to sit through a hundred confusing tutorials, am I right? So instead I went through pin after pin and kept only the ones that actually looked doable at home.
The 15 ideas below cover a bit of everything. Painting, drawing, sketching outfits, even a little recycled craft snuck in there too!
Everything here is organized by type so you can jump straight to what you need. Want a quick canvas project? Scroll to the bottom. Need a sketchbook warm up instead? Start near the middle.
Ideas de cuadros can mean a hundred different things depending on your style and your wall space. That’s exactly why this list mixes minimal pieces with bold ones.
Grab a coffee, scroll through and pick whichever one matches your Sunday energy. Let’s get into it!
IDEAS DE CUADROS PARA TODOS LOS GUSTOS
Cuadro Minimalista Blanco Y Negro
We’re starting off strong with the classic black and white canvas. Simple lines, one bold color. It somehow works in every single room!
A basic acrylic set and painter’s tape is really all this needs. I just smile and say she painted it herself, haha!
- Weeknight easy
- Two colors is plenty
- Dries flat overnight
Cuadro Botanico Con Hojas Secas
Dried leaves pressed onto canvas make this one feel like a little piece of the backyard. Are you guys seeing how good this looks with barely any effort?
Press the leaves flat under some heavy books for a week first. Skip that step and they curl right up, no shame in admitting I learned that the hard way. A cheap dictionary works better than you’d think for this.
- Basic and proud
- Leaves from the yard
- No fancy paint needed
Cuadro Geometrico Estilo Boho
This geometric boho piece leans into warm terracotta and mustard tones. Triangles and arches layered together give it that handmade market feel.
Masking tape keeps every edge crisp while you paint. I always mess up at least one line and just call it character. It looks complicated but it’s really just shapes stacked on top of each other.
- The pattern trick
- Tape does the hard part
- Earthy tones only
Dibujo De Rostro Realista
A realistic face drawing takes patience more than natural talent. Shading the cheekbones and the hollow under the eye is where most of the magic happens.
Ideas de desenhos like this one reward slow, layered pencil work over quick sketching.
I always rush the eyes first and regret it by the end. Start light and build the dark areas gradually instead. Rushing this step always shows in the final piece.
- The patience test
- Blending stump helps
- Layer the shading slowly
Dibujo De Flores A Lapiz
Flowers in pencil are the perfect low-pressure practice piece. Petals, stems and a little shading, nothing more complicated than that.
This is the sketch I hand beginners first because a wilted petal still looks intentional, lol! A slightly bent stem somehow makes it look more real anyway.
Dibujo De Animales Detallado
Detailed animal drawings ask for a steady hand and a lot of tiny strokes. Fur texture especially takes forever, but the payoff is worth it!
Reference photos make this so much easier. I always pick an animal with strong markings, like a tiger or a zebra. The detail practically draws itself after that!
It’s the kind of project that eats an entire afternoon without you noticing. Who doesn’t love losing a whole Saturday to something like that?
Diptico De Paisaje Marino
A seaside diptych splits one horizon across two canvases. Hang them a couple inches apart and the ocean seems to keep moving right through the gap!
Blues and sandy beige work best here. My living room looked like a beach rental the week I hung mine. Guests still ask if I’m planning a trip, haha!
- The gap matters
- Leave two inches between
- Blues blend easy
Diptico Floral Simetrico
This floral diptych mirrors the same flower on both panels facing opposite directions. It creates a symmetry that looks fancy but really isn’t hard to pull off.
Ideas de dipticos like this one work great above a headboard or a hallway console. I hung mine slightly crooked for a week before noticing, lol!
- The mirror move
- One stencil for both
- Flip it for panel two
Diptico Blanco Y Dorado
White and gold together always look more expensive than they actually cost. A little gold leaf or metallic paint pen goes a long way here!
This pairing photographs beautifully too. It’s become the go-to gift for a housewarming, if you ask me. Who wouldn’t want to unwrap that?
- The gift favorite
- Gold paint pen only
- White base coat dries fast
Dibujo De Outfit Casual
Casual outfit sketches let you plan a closet without buying a single thing. Jeans, a plain tee and sneakers, sketched out in a few loose lines.
This kind of fashion doodle helps you see what actually goes together before you commit. She still overspends anyway, haha!
Dibujo De Chaqueta Streetwear
A streetwear jacket sketch is all about the oversized silhouette and the little details, patches, zippers, chunky seams.
Ideas de ropa dibujo like this one are popular with anyone designing their own merch or just doodling for fun.
I always draw bold outlines first and add small details after. Skipping that order usually turns into a messy sketch fast. My early sketchbooks are proof of that!
Esquema Creativo Con Mapas Mentales
A mind map layout turns a page of scattered thoughts into something you can actually follow. Circles branch out from one central idea with color coding for each thread.
Ideas de esquemas creativos work great for studying or planning a big project. My brainstorms always start messy and end up in neat little branches. It’s honestly satisfying every single time!
Esquema Creativo Con Colores Pastel
Soft pink, lavender and mint turn a boring notes page into something you actually want to open. My study sessions run longer when the page looks like this, oddly enough. How cute is this?
This one’s a favorite among planner people who color code absolutely everything. No shame in that, lol!
Manualidad Con Reciclaje Decorativo
Turning cardboard, bottle caps and old fabric scraps into wall art is oddly satisfying. Nothing here needs to be bought new, which is half the fun!
Ideas de trabajos creativos like this one are great for using up a junk drawer that’s gotten out of hand. My junk drawer alone could fill three of these. Who doesn’t have one of those hiding somewhere?
I always paint over the cardboard base first so the texture doesn’t peek through. The final piece looks intentional, not thrifted, even though it totally is, lol!
- The junk drawer fix
- Cardboard base first
- Bottle caps from recycling
Pintura En Lienzo Con Acrilico
Last but definitely not least, an acrylic canvas painting rounds out this list perfectly. Bold brush strokes, a limited color palette and zero pressure to be perfect!
Ideas de pinturas en lienzo are the easiest entry point if you’ve never picked up a brush before. Not that I’m biased toward this one or anything, haha!
Squeeze out more paint than you think you need. Running out mid stroke is the fastest way to ruin the blend. Same thing happened to me on my very first canvas!
- The beginner win
- Three colors is enough
- Big brush, bold strokes
